Two little grandson's overheard on a Sunday morning, after church:
Logan age 5: I'm your brother. You have a boogy, I need to get it for you!
Landon age 3: Otay.
Logan: I got him!
Landon: Thanks LoLo.

My idea of Heaven
Holding baby Emmett... Nothing sweeter!
Can you believe this little guy is only 6 weeks old? He was just a smilin' and cooing!

Canyons aren't the only thing GRAND in AZ.
I get to spend some grandma time with these handsome little boys for a few days. Logan and Landon have been teaching me the names of fancy cars (boy are they smarties!). It has been fun! And hopefully we'll get to play with Elly and Owen and maybe even baby Emmett tomorrow.

Sock it to me!
I worry that I'm going blind. That, or we have way bad lighting in our home. I have done it before and I swore I wouldn't let it happen again...but last Sunday, to my horror, (cue psycho music) as my husband crossed his left calf over his right thigh, there they were....MISMATCHED SOCKS!!!
So not only are they two different shades of blue...(he was wearing a gray suit and he thought they were black), one has a striped design on it and the other clearly has a plaid pattern!
I'm going to start a new line of clothing for old people
Geriatric Garanimals.

Collagen injections?
Grandkids are always game for being silly!
But this picture borders on being scary, doesn't it??
YIKES!
Coleman watching the game with his daddy.
I loved having the kids here last weekend (although it was much too short of a visit) Coleman got to celebrate his birthday with us, and I got some much needed daughter-time and grandbaby-lovin' in. My sweet son-in-law came up and installed a new furnace for us. Holy Cow, what a difference this new one makes. The old one sounded like a 747 taking off in our garage! Thanks David!
We took a ride to Owen Beach where it was cold and windy. Then we drove thru the "enchanted forest", aka Point Defiance park, where grandpa and the kids got out of the car to feed the ducks. Hudson was asleep so Shannon and I stayed in the car and watched as they fed the ducks, geese, and various attack water fowl. It was hilarious watching them running from the birds!

Sweet and guileless
Little children have absolutely no hidden agenda's. My 7 year old granddaughter sent me this picture of "are family", which includes me and Ron and all her new cousins. Such a sweetheart. Thanks Ella!
